By accessing or using FlockFinder ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FlockFinder is a church management platform that helps churches:

  • Manage member information
  • Organize home groups
  • Visualize geographic data on maps
  • Track attendance and engagement
  • Import data from Planning Center (optional)

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.2 Account Types

  • Admin: Full access to church data and settings
  • Editor: Can create and modify data
  • Viewer: Read-only access to church data

3.3 Password Security

  • Passwords must meet our security requirements (12+ characters, mixed case, numbers, symbols)
  • We recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA)
  • Never share your password with others

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Subscription Plans

FlockFinder offers various subscription plans with different features. Pricing is available on our website. Plans are billed monthly or annually.

4.2 Payment Processing

  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method for subscription fees
  • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated

4.3 Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will retain access until the end of the paid period

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 Permitted Use

You may use FlockFinder only for:

  • Managing your church's member and group data
  • Legitimate church administration purposes
  • Lawful activities in compliance with all applicable laws

5.2 Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Upload malicious code or viruses
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the Service to spam or harass others
  • Scrape or harvest data without permission
  • Resell or redistribute the Service

5.3 Data Accuracy

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter
  • You must have proper authorization to upload member data
  • You must comply with applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)

6. Data Ownership and Privacy

6.1 Your Data

  • You retain ownership of all data you upload to FlockFinder
  • We do not claim ownership of your church data
  • You grant us a license to process your data to provide the Service

  • By using the Service, you agree to our Privacy Policy
  • We implement industry-standard security measures

6.3 Data Backup

  • We perform regular backups of your data
  • You are responsible for maintaining your own backups

  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance

8. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS.

9. Termination

9.1 By You

  • You may terminate your account at any time from settings
  • Termination is effective immediately
  • Your data will be deleted according to our data retention policy

9.2 By Us

We may terminate or suspend your account if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You engage in fraudulent activity
